Our beautiful gallery is located in the
Historic Downtown District of Paola
Kansas approximately 20 miles south
of the Kansas City area. We opened
our doors in November 2006 with the
addition of an espresso and smoothie
bar in July 2007.
D'Marie Gallery features local and
area artists working in an eclectic and
vibrant array of mediums including
sculpture, stained glass, infused glass,
pottery, jewelry, and blown glass.

| D'Marie Gallery currently features over thirty local and area artists which are on exhibit through May 2008. David Gross, one of Paola's master painters has been represented in over 450 collections worldwide. Mr. Gross' interest in oil painting began at a very early age. He planned to be a painter from the very beginning and has always worked directly from nature. With more than 35 years of painting experience to draw from, David paints simple, straight-forward subjects in a visually simplified manner. In the painter's own words, "My life work is a journey. I paint to explore color, space, and composition, It is a search, an exploration." Mr Gross' work has been sold in galleries in the U.S. and throughout Europe. David now paints full-time in his studio. |
